Join us on board Tortuga at Portland Marina for a great way to celebrate a special birthday, anniversary or just a fantastic day out with friends & family.

Tortuga can carry up to 12 guests to spend the day sailing along the stunning Dorset coast with views of Weymouth Bay. Or join us for an evening sail & watch the sun go down from the comfort of our covered deck (blankets also provided). Trips are 2.5 hours or more, it's up to you & the kind of day you're planning.

Private hire rates start at £525 for 2.5 hours. A typical 2.5hr cruise will see us sail out through Portland Harbour & into Weymouth Bay. On route we'll take in the sights of the working port & Portland, whilst also keeping an eye out for dolphins & seals.

Once in Weymouth Bay you'll have spectacular views of the Jurassic Coast. If the mood takes you we'll anchor so you can enjoy a swim using our two large swim platforms.

If you'd like to have longer onboard you can add extra time during the booking process, or take advantage of the 4 hour+ trips & the extras that come with it.

Our 4 hour + days begin like our shorter trips, but time allows us to sail down the Jurassic Coast, towards Durdle Door & Lulworth Cove, or even around the iconic Portland Bill (weather dependant).

Tortuga is equipped with SUP's, e-Foils & an inflatable slide (slide for children). So whilst at anchor in one of the many picturesque locations that Weymouth Bay has to offer, why not get wet & fully make the most of Dorset's most exclusive boat charter.

Private Sunset Cruise

As with all our trips this amazing 2.5 hour journey will take you from Portland Marina & out into Weymouth Bay. You'll be able to admire Weymouth's picturesque sea front & uninterrupted views of the Jurassic Coast.

Bring dinner to really make the most of this unique experience. Ask the skipper to anchor to enjoy an evening swim, or just let him sail you round the bay whilst you soak up the scenery.
